classic cheese pizza

When you want a classic, this is where to start!
1 basic pizza pan crust
1 basic pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
Preheat oven to 550F. Spread sauce evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a 1/2-in. (1-cm.) border around the edge. Place on bottom rack in oven and bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and spread shredded mozzarella evenly over sauce.
Return to oven and bake for another 5 to 6 minutes, until cheese has melted and crust is golden brown.
Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Slice into 12 squares and serve immediately.
