The season 4 opener keeps up the momentum of May's cliffhanger and - MAGNIFIQUE! - places some of the drama in Paris. There, Serena (Blake Lively) and a heartbroken Blair (Leighton Meester) shop, hobnob with royalty and bond, unaware that Chuck (Ed Westwick) has been gunned down. Back in NYC, Dan (Penn Badgley) deals with a delightfully devious Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) and her baby news. All the story lines are freshened up by perfectly placed wit.
