STUBBE CHOCOLATES

A remarkable family business story dating back to 1845 in northern Germany represents six generations of chocolate making. Today, father-and-son chocolatiers Heinrich and Daniel Stubbe carry on the traditions with chocolate houses dedicated to Old World European recipes, meticulous care, and only the finest ingredients. Everything is made by hand on-site, including a dazzling array of truffles (with some unusual boozy flavours such as kir royale and gewurztraminer), chocolates (caramel and sea salt), traditional European cakes (Viennese Sachertorte, Frankfurt Crown), and 30-plus kinds of chocolate bars, including region-specific cocoa bean varieties. The chocolate-covered orange peel is legendary.
